Salt & Sill - Klädesholmen

Sweden’s first floating hotel is situated on Klädesholmen Island, 45 minutes’ drive from Gothenburg. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and panoramic views of the Bohuslän Archipelago at this unique, themed property.

The bright, modern guest rooms at Salt & Sill are located in 6 buildings on floating platforms. Each guest room has a TV and private patio.

Guests can also enjoy a sauna-boat and swimming from a pontoon deck.

Salt & Sill’s sea-side restaurant serves a menu of traditional, regional specialities, such as sill (the herring fish). Guests can rent bicycles at the property to explore the surroundings. Common area activities include fishing, canoeing and hiking.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that during low season, our restaurant is open on selected days.
